G.I. Joe, a Real American Hero issue 152 was published by Marvel Comics with a cover date of September 1994 at a cover price of 1.25 USD; 1.70 CAD.
Ace is taking G.I. Joe to D.C. to see the current President of the U.S., and Ace asks him if this is his first time flying in a supersonic fighter, and Joe says the last time he flew to D.C. was in 1963. Ace then asks why he was flown from Vietnam to D.C. Joe then tells him that he can’t respond because it’s classified. The story then goes into Joe’s origin and how he was recruited to be the first true G.I. Joe by then-president JFK and ends with them landing in D.C. as he asks Ace to give him a minute to recoup his bearings as they had just flown over Arlington National Cemetery.
