The G.I. Joe news at SDCC 2026 came from Hasbro, Super7 and Skybound. Hasbro sold two Classified exclusives at its booth and ran a Thursday morning panel that named five figures for 2027, BigBadToyStore listed Super7 ReAction+ sets as SDCC 2026 exclusives, and Skybound used its Saturday Energon Universe panel for the G.I. Joe comic. We have not found a G.I. Joe item from Mezco.
- Hasbro's G.I. Joe panel ran Thursday July 23 from 10 AM to 11 AM in Room 25ABC, according to Comic-Con's own schedule. Its listing promised new product news, digital renders, in-hand prototypes and pre-order announcements.
- Hasbro's two exclusives were Classified Series #204 Fatal Fluffies at $54.99 and #205 Shipwreck vs. Cadet Deming at $64.99. Both were sold first at the Hasbro booth, with a smaller number to follow on Hasbro Pulse. Pulse opened to Premium members on August 10 and to everyone on August 11 at 1 PM ET.
- Hasbro and Crystal Dynamics showed a Lara Croft figure for the Classified line at $44.99, with 16 accessories and retro cardback packaging. A five-issue G.I. Joe and Tomb Raider miniseries from Skybound and Image followed, and issue 1 went on sale October 7.
- The panel also set the retailer exclusives. The M.A.R.S. S.N.A.K.E. Battle Suit (#219, $79.99) is an Amazon exclusive. The Mad Marauders three-pack of Footloose, Mutt and Junkyard (#220, $74.99) was shared between Amazon and fan-channel retailers such as BigBadToyStore. Sgt. Slaughter and the Triple T (#214, $109.99) and the Arctic Battle 3-Pack (#224, $84.99) are Hasbro Pulse exclusives, with pre-orders set for August 12 and August 26, both at 1 PM ET.
- Toy Habits described the arctic set as two Cobra Snow Serpents and a Steel Corps Trooper. Hasbro's own product images show an Arctic S.A.W.-Viper, an Arctic Drift Viper and an Arctic Steel Corps Trooper, and our story follows the images.
- Falcon, Flash and Cobra Valkyrie were shown, with pre-orders set for Tuesday July 28 at 1 PM ET. Toy Habits called them mainline releases from the panel, and our story records them in retro cardback packaging. Night Force Psyche-Out was shown as well.
- Hasbro gave name-only reveals for 2027: Hardball, a second Shipwreck with a new animal companion, Daina, Flatline and the H.E.A.T. Viper. It also said the Ninja Force Snake Eyes and Jinx two-pack was coming, with renders due before New York Comic Con. All five were shown in full by Hasbro's NYCC panel on October 8.
- Hasbro said the Dreadnok Thunder Machine was in development as a premium vehicle without electronics, with Thrasher to be sold separately in 2027. The Made to Order listing went live on Hasbro Pulse on September 9 at $124.99, with orders open until October 23.
- Toy Habits' report of the panel says Hasbro described the winter 2027 retro cardback wave as built around the 40th anniversary of G.I. Joe: The Movie, with a special anniversary logo, and that no characters were named.
- On the Super7 side, BigBadToyStore lists the ReAction+ Cobra Trubble Bubble with a Cobra Trooper as an SDCC 2026 BBTS exclusive at $54.99. Toy Habits reported a Python Patrol Trubble Bubble sold on Super7.com, and the San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog lists a G.I. Joe shirt among Super7's exclusives for booth 2343.
- BigBadToyStore also lists two ReAction+ Glow Patrol three-packs as SDCC 2026 exclusives at $74.99 each: Duke, Snake Eyes and Cover Girl in green, and Cobra Commander, Serpentor and a B.A.T. in blue. Flickering Myth reported the same two sets as JoeFest 2026 releases, sold first at that show on June 26 to 28. The sources disagree on which show owns them, and we have not found a Super7 post that settles it.
- Skybound's Transformers and G.I. Joe Energon Universe panel was billed for Saturday July 25 from 4:30 to 5:30 PM in Room 5AB. The Beat reported that writer Joshua Williamson introduced Major Medusa, who debuts in G.I. Joe #25, and a Zartan twist. We have not published a story on the panel.
- Mezco was at booth 3045. We found no G.I. Joe item in Mephitsu's booth report of July 25 or in Mezco's own Mezco Con 2026 recap of July 31, which list ThunderCats, Marvel, DC and horror figures.
