The Dreadnok Thunder Machine Is Classified #244, and Hasbro Is Taking Orders Until October 23

Zartan is doing the sales pitch himself. Hasbro’s product page for the G.I. Joe Classified Series #244 Dreadnok Thunder Machine opens with him welcoming all comers to “our small but elite society of Dreadnoks”, promises that an application rises to the top if it turns up in a rig built from the scrap yard, and keeps that voice going through every heading on the listing. The vehicle went live on Hasbro Pulse on September 9 at $124.99, and HissTank ran it the same afternoon.

It is a Made to Order item, and that changes what a buyer is agreeing to. There is no backer target to hit and no progress meter on the listing: Hasbro’s own terms say the vehicle is available only through pre-order until 11:59 PM ET on October 23, 2026, and that placed orders can be cancelled until 11:59 PM ET on Monday, November 9, 2026. That leaves seventeen days to change your mind after the order window itself has closed. The HasLab Snow C.A.T. ran on a backer target instead, and its campaign page now reads FUNDING ENDED with no purchase control on it at all. [1]

The Pulse listing estimates shipping on or about September 1, 2027, and what turns up will be a kit rather than a finished vehicle. Hasbro’s spec line reads “1 unassembled vehicle” plus modular pieces and accessories. The exploded render breaks the build down: under all the Dreadnok scrap sits a stock coupe with a police light bar and a beacon on a detachable roof, and everything that makes it a Thunder Machine bolts on afterwards. Hasbro names the front roll cage, the cowcatcher, the armored rear tire shields, the gull-wing doors and the front wheel well plating as the removable pieces, and its copy invites both builds: “recreate the look of the original or trick out unique configurations”.

Hasbro has printed the dimensions on the art itself. The render gives 541mm, or 21.3 inches, in length, with a height of 302mm, 11.9 inches, and a width of 206mm, 8.1 inches. There is no figure in the box either; the driver, the gunner and anyone riding the running boards all come off your own shelf. Hasbro says only “Figure not included”, but HissTank reports that Thrasher is coming later as a single release. [2]

The weapons come over from the vintage toy and then some. Hasbro calls the rotating Gatling cannons iconic and supplements them with dual launchers and eight missile accessories that peg into swiveling stands or go into a figure’s hands. There is a large blast effect for the “Knock-Dead” 21K Thrust Turbojet detail on the rear, medium effects for the launcher tubes and small ones for the front cannons. Foot pegs run along both running boards for hangers-on, and a fold-down tow hitch sits at the back.

The interior is detailed well past what a vehicle at this scale usually gets: bucket seats, a rotating steering wheel, a movable gear shifter, dashboard gauges, console detail, and two cup holders that Zartan’s copy justifies as “perfect for all your grape soda needs”. A skull rides on the nose as a hood ornament, and Hasbro’s copy has Zartan explaining it as a tribute to “our mascot (and former Dreadnok applicant) Ned” on a vehicle he calls his personal “Princess”. We will be arguing about those gull-wing doors for the next year!

Order now, cancel by November 9 if the year of waiting sours, and see it next September.
