G.I. Joe Comics Magazine issue 10 was published by Marvel Comics with a cover date of June 1988 at a cover price of 1.50 USD; 2.00 CAD.

The origins of Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow begin, and it’s explained how they tie into each other. In the Everglades, the hunters become the hunted as Junkyard starts leading the Cobras right to the Joes, but actually leads them into quicksand. To be continued… The Origins of Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow conclude as we learn how Snake-Eyes’ face was disfigured and why he is mute. Storm Shadow tracks down Snake-Eyes and the two battle, as he tells his sword brother that someone from Cobra killed his uncle (Hard Master), and he was framed because they used one of his arrows to commit the murder. Meanwhile, the Joes continues their fight in the Everglades vs. Cobra as Zartan decides to involve the Dreadnoks. A Joe strike force begins to converge on Zartan’s hideout in the Everglades as the Baroness goes to Springfield to speak with an imprisoned Bludd to arrange for an assassination. Destro and Firefly attack the Joes using the new tanksmasher jets (Rattler), but are repelled by the Joes in the W.H.A.L.E. and Dragonfly, as the Commander escapes their grasp yet again, with Firefly left behind to clean up the ‘mess’ at the hideout, as Zartan heads north with the Dreadnoks to locate the Pit.
