Action Force Monthly issue 3 was published by Marvel UK with a cover date of August 1988 at a cover price of 0.50 GBP.

Storm Shadow has tracked down an old Vietnamese general looking to fulfil a promise of vengeance. Snake-Eyes and his wolf Timber take out a team of Cobra Snow Serpents that have infiltrated a military research base. Slaughterhouse introduces himself and his Evil Dead team, and gives a commentary on what each of the Dragon’s Claws are up to. Just as Action Force think they’ve escaped from one giant robot in Megatron, they come face-to-face with Grimlock and Centurion. Megatron attacks the Autobots, and Flint calls in air support. The Dragonfly being piloted by Wild Bill is hit by a blast from Megatron, and it plunges towards the ground.
