Outfitted with a suit of flexible composite, laminate armor and a helmet with built-in infrared heat source sensors, Barricade can take on any Cobra agent in an urban environment and "knock his block off" with relative ease. Barricade is a G.I. Joe team operative in the A Real American Hero line. First released as a Hasbro carded action figure in 1992, with 2 distinct figure versions produced across the 1982 to 1994 vintage run.
Barricade did not appear by name in the Sunbow or DiC cartoon series synopses. Original Hasbro file-card lore and Marvel ARAH comics appearances are the primary characterization sources.
