The twenty-fourth in an unbroken line of Scottish arms merchants, Destro supplies Cobra's weapons while commanding his own elite Iron Grenadiers. He wears the chromed beryllium-steel mask of his ancestors and considers himself a man of honor among thieves. His on-and-off alliance with the Baroness runs through the entire saga.
Destro is an Iron Grenadier, the elite private army funded by Destro and operating in parallel to Cobra. First released as a Hasbro carded action figure in 1983.
Destro appears in 16 episode synopses across the Sunbow (1983 to 1987) and DiC (1989 to 1992) runs, first appearing in Sunbow's "The M.A.S.S. Device, Part 4: Duel in the Devil's Cauldron" (1983). Full screencap and continuity review pending.
