Super7 reveals the second four America's 250th Joes, and the first four are still $24.99
Super7’s America’s 250th G.I. Joe assortment has been orderable since the spring and it is still orderable now. Duke, Lt. Falcon, Lady Jaye and Snake Eyes are $24.99 each at Big Bad Toy Store, with Snake Eyes and Lt. Falcon in stock and Duke and Lady Jaye taking pre-orders against an October arrival. Super7’s own store has sold out of all four. On 2 October the company published official photography of the four ReAction+ figures that join them.
Wild Bill, Flash, Chuckles and a second Snake Eyes for the 250th line are the new cards, all 3.75 inch ReAction+, each packed with the same clear moulded G.I. Joe star stand that came with the first four, each badged “Available at Walmart” on Super7’s own artwork. Toy Habits found the Walmart listings last week and ran the official images on 2 October, and puts the figures on sale during Walmart Collector Con on 8 and 9 October. We have not been able to open those listings ourselves, so everything about the Walmart side of this comes from Toy Habits rather than from us.

Wild Bill’s white shirt and red vest are untouched, and the anniversary colours go into his trousers: blue and white camouflage, worn under a navy cowboy hat. Chuckles keeps the Hawaiian shirt he was issued with his 1987 figure, printed this time in red and white camouflage over plain blue jeans. Chuckles is an undercover specialist and Super7 has put him in camouflage, in a Hawaiian shirt; nobody on the other three cards is that funny! Flash gets a white quilted chest plate over a blue suit with red arms and legs, close enough to his laser trooper rig that the change could pass for a repaint. In all three cases the new colours have gone into a garment the character was already wearing.

Snake Eyes is the one who gets a new costume. Red and blue camouflage covers him from the balaclava down, with a red band across the visor, silver rivets at the shoulders and a pouch on the right thigh, and none of it maps onto the plain navy commando suit and striped visor of the Snake Eyes already on sale. Super7 puts him on the back of the card twice for it, listing the earlier figure as Snake Eyes and this one as Snake Eyes (Camo); no other character on that card appears more than once. [1]

The back of that card also prints the line as eight figures in two rows, and the top row already carries a number. Snake Eyes, Lady Jaye, Duke and Falcon run along the top, with Snake Eyes (Camo), Chuckles, Wild Bill and Flash underneath. The top four are the set Super7 has listed on its own store as ReAction+ Wave 08 since 26 May, and the set we covered during the Labor Day sale as the Duke done up for America’s 250th. But Toy Habits has run today’s images under the Wave 8 number as well. Nothing on the new card carries a number, and nothing on Super7’s store does either, so we are not going to supply one. [2]

Big Bad Toy Store takes no payment on the Duke or the Lady Jaye until the figure is ready to ship, and the order can be cancelled up to that point, against an estimated October arrival. The Snake Eyes and the Lt. Falcon are on the shelf now at the same $24.99, with nothing to wait for. No terms can be quoted for the four going to Collector Con, because the Walmart listings will not open for us.

Collector Con opens on 8 October. Until it does, the four on the top row are the ones with a listing we can read, and the back of that card is the only place we have seen all eight of them together.
[1] The two are not packed the same, either. The Snake Eyes already on sale comes with a sword and the star stand; the camo version comes with a pistol and the stand. The accessory lists printed down the side of each new card give the rest: a communicator and a pistol for Wild Bill, a helmet with visor, the XMLR-1A laser rifle and a power pack for Flash, and a holster and a pistol for Chuckles.
[2] Super7’s wave numbering for G.I. Joe ReAction+ has already run past this point in other subjects, with a Wave 11 Ninja Force Snake Eyes listed on its store since July, so the next number in the 250th run is not something that can be worked out from the catalogue either.
