Cobra Commander gets a drone inside of Fort Wadsworth’s motor pool while Snake Eyes is sparring against four of the Joes, but Snake Eyes destroys the drone. However, there is a team of Cobra vipers hidden in a residential home just outside of Fort Wadsworth. The Cobras based in Staten Island invade Fort Wadsworth and kidnap Sean. Cobra’s fleet of ASPIDs ferry the kidnapped Snake Eyes out of New York with an aerial escort including a Night Raven jet; three Joe pilots engage and destroy the ASPIDs escorts while Snake Eyes tries to fight free of Cobra, but Laura 343 hits Snake Eyes with a tranquilizer. Cobra places the captured Snake Eyes behind heavy defences as they prepare the Brainwave Scanner for him. Zartan liberates Destro and the Baroness from Revanche. The Oktober Guard have begun working undercover in Springfield and at least one of them is a Revanche android. Joe Colton and Jane try to monitor events in Springfield but Cobra destroys their spy satellite. Storm Shadow and the other ninjas vow to rescue Snake Eyes. Snake Eyes’ father Wade comes to Fort Wadsworth to offer his help. The Joes’ attempted rescue of Snake Eyes is called off by the Department of Defense. The Dreadnoks complete their rescue of Destro and Baroness, then propose an alliance. Some of the Joes prepare unauthorized rescue missions for Snake Eyes - while virtually every Joe in the Pit requests a leave of absence, intending the same. The Joes, Dreadnoks, Iron Grenaders and Oktober Guard are all converging on Springfield while Snake Eyes breaks out of his cell.
