The Arctic B.A.T. is back up at $27.99, and Hasbro's own accessory count is off by a footlocker

If you missed the Arctic B.A.T. the first time, the window is open again. Classified Series #69 Arctic B.A.T. is back on preorder at BigBadToyStore at $27.99, with an arrival estimate of September 2026 and a live add to cart on the listing as of this evening.

This is the single figure, not the Arctic Battle 3-Pack we covered last month, which is a different set with different troopers. If you have been building a cold weather Cobra shelf then the two are complements rather than alternatives, and this is the one that army builds.

The accessory count, and a small thing Hasbro’s own copy gets muddled

Hasbro’s vendor text reads “8 character-inspired accessories including chainsaw hand attachment, backpack, 2 weapon accessories, alternate head, and 3 interchangeable chest plates … plus a footlocker to stow all its gear”.

Count it and our eight are the chainsaw arm, the backpack, two weapons (a rifle and a pistol in the photography), the alternate head and three chest plates. The footlocker is a ninth piece riding outside the count, which is why you will see this figure written up as eight accessories in one place and nine in another. Both are reading the same sentence, and the footlocker is the bit that moves.

Three interchangeable chest plates is the detail that makes this a troop builder rather than a shelf piece. Buy two and they do not have to look like the same android, and the swap is a chest plate rather than a repaint, which is a nicer bit of engineering than the line usually gives us at this price. The chainsaw arm is still the reason anyone remembers the mould at all, and I am not going to pretend I have grown out of it!

One thing to know about that listing

BBTS shows Substandard on a waitlist and Damaged as sold out on this product. Those are BBTS package grades, not the figure, and BBTS Mint is the one with the live add to cart. It is a recurring trap on that site, and every so often it convinces one of us a figure is gone when it is not.

The other useful bit of the small print: BBTS takes no payment until the item is ready to ship, and you can cancel any time before that. On a preorder a year out that is a real difference from a card charged today.
